Elements Bits: Killer Elite

After a botched assassination hit, where Danny was shot by the police, he decides to retire from the hired gun business, leave the past behind and just start a new life. A year later, a wealthy oil sheik, wants to hire him to take revenge on those who murdered his sons in Oman. To futher complicate things, those responsible for the murders were allegedly the glorious special forces of Her Majesty, the SAS.

But Danny is retired, why risk his life again? Unless it is to repay a debt from a good friend who saved his life a year ago, and that would be Hunter. He was abducted by the sheik, and if Danny does not take the assignment, Hunter will be executed.

There were three SAS soldiers responsible for the murders, and statham needs to track all three, with the help of his crew. But it is not as simple as walking up silently to the target with a silencer; the shiek wants the confessions of the killings from the alleged soldiers and all assassinations must look like it was an accident.

Now the SAS will not be the SAS if they were not that damn good. After sensing that someone might be digging up the past, they send out their own specialist to neutralize statham’s crew and protect the key targets.

This by the way is based on a true story.

You tend to keep yourself mobile so that the authorities will not be able to pin point your location. But what about if you just want to isolate yourself, go into hibernation, or simply avoid seeing people that you don’t want to get in touch with?

Some individuals actually have perfected the skill of detaching themselves to the world. Usually they first cut themselves from the social media dimension. They carefully select the places they go to. Does research on the circle of friends they hang out with. (Reason being, God only knows why you want to hide from society.) The Feather Men

A novel by Sir Ranulph Fiennes, that claims that the story is based on real events, is about a group of retired British soldiers and SAS agents who were targeted by a hit squad hired by the sheik of Oman, claiming that the soldiers murdered his sons during the Oman war. The author also claims that he was one of the targets and that they were saved by a group that called themselves the Feather Men.
