2012 was supposed to be my year, Year of the Dragon, though I felt things could have been better, I am pretty satisfied with what I had and experienced.
As 2013 was just around the corner, we made some last minute changes in our holiday celebration, and joined my Dad in spending New Year's eve in Subic. It was a jam-packed weekend as we wanted to treat the kids at Zoobic Safari as well.
Road trip to the North
Since it was a last minute booking we had to stay in separate hotels, so we ended up in Subic International and headed to Segara Villas where my Dad was staying to spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing after the long drive. After that we had dinner at the ever famous Meat Plus. (Rib-Eye in the house!!)
The next morning we set off for Zoobic Safari since Kian wouldn't stop demanding to see the tiger.
And after lunch we headed to Anvaya Cove. One of the most relaxing places I have ever been to.
Then the night came and we had a delicious buffet dinner at The Lighthouse resort while waiting for the fireworks show which lasted for like 30 minutes!!
Before heading back to Manila, we had some brunch at Xtremely Xpresso; Four Cheese Pizza and creamy Truffle Pasta. (And yes I know this is not how you start the new year by bulking up, but I don't care, I'm gonna burn it anyway since the ABL season starts this weekend!)
And it does not stop there, we had some merienda at our Ninong Joey's house in Pulilan and capping the night by having a late dinner at Red Garlic.
And so this is how we welcomed 2013.
